GTS Central Europe Announces New Unified Communications Service

GTS Central Europe (GTS), a provider of integrated telecommunications solutions and data center services throughout Central and Eastern Europe, has launched its new unified communications service that combines voice, messaging and collaboration into one seamless solution.

GTS Unified Communications (News - Alert) (UC) combines voice, collaboration and messaging into a single and seamless business solution. It automates human and device communication, providing users with the harmonized experience across laptops, smartphones, tablets and IP phones.

With this platform, an individual can send a message on one medium and receive it on another. The ability to easily communicate via different devices improves employee efficiency and enables them to be more responsive to customers. GTS’ UC platform can be implemented easily without the need for large capital investments.

The UC offers many benefits, including the ability to communicate quickly and easily, seamless multi-tasking between multiple devices, flexibility to scale quickly up or down users as required, cost-effective monthly pricing with no upfront investment, and full and proactive support in 24x7 Network Operations Centers (NOCs) for all services.

“We are excited to continue to meet the demands of our business customers and offer a managed service that brings together the different types of communication methods onto one single platform,” said Sunny Kumar, VP of marketing and business development at GTS, in a statement.

Kumar said that not only does the UC service enable companies to become more productive and improve employee experience, it allows them to control costs and eliminate significant capital expenditures that are required with other deployments.

GTS Central Europe owns and operates an extensive fiber optic and data center network throughout the region. In the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Romania, the company combines its regional footprint with deep local networks to deliver a broad range of services.

Earlier in May, Telstra (News - Alert) Global announced that it has established a new Network-to-Network Interconnection (NNI) agreement with GTS, increasing Telstra’s footprint in Europe and providing greater connectivity and redundancy options for businesses in the region.
