Evolve IP Wins TMC Unified Communications (UC) Product of the Year Award

August 06, 2015

A communications solution no longer means having a phone and a PBX (News - Alert) system at the office. Organizations big and small have to deploy a range of solutions to address the different touchpoints customers, vendors, employees and partners use. This has resulted in the creation of agile and comprehensive systems that integrate disparate capabilities. This includes legacy and next generation ones with various levels of functionality so that communications users, particularly when it comes to real-time communications and collaboration have an easy to use, powerful and unified communications (UC) capability.

UC has been around for many years holding out a great deal of promise in the areas of business process optimization and providing organizations the tools to provide more compelling customer interactions. The good news is having overcome a host of interoperability, price and other challenges; UC in the past few years has gone from nicety to necessity.

That said, not all UC is created equal, and TMC (News - Alert) is constantly evaluating the various offerings and has recognized Evolve IP with the 2015 Unified Communications Product of the Year Award. In fact, Evolve IP (News - Alert) is not stranger to such recognition as this marks the third time it was presented with the honor.

TMC CEO Rich Tehrani in announcing the award said, “Our judges were very impressed with the ingenuity and groundbreaking work displayed by Evolve IP in their innovative, cloud-based Unified Communications service,”

The company’s Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) integrates voice, video, instant messaging & presence (IM&P), desktop sharing, and audio/web conferencing. Having all of these options under one platform means its customers can access the resources they need with one vendor.

The ingenuity for which TMC recognized Evolve IP was for integrating the features of its UCaaS into an organization’s applications, including Microsoft Outlook and Lync, Google (News - Alert) Apps, and salesforce.com. Additionally, it delivers a uniform user experience across desktop, tablet and mobile, accessible as a Web client and through apps for Apple iOS and Android.

Benefits of Evolve IP’s UC solution include:

  • Easy-to-use applications in your preferred environment (Google, Microsoft (News - Alert), or Apple).
  • Unified messaging solution that allows for instantaneous information exchange, immediate decision making, and improved organizational responsiveness – resulting in enhanced productivity.
  • Access UC features from any location with any device via easily-managed mobile applications that span the iOS and Android platforms.
  • Online collaboration and communication enablement for remote workers and road warriors.
  • Reduce or eliminate annual licensing agreements and / or hardware.
  • Improve compliance and professionalism by providing business class instant messaging and video chatting security and logging in adherence to corporate policies.

“We appreciate the continued recognition of our UCaaS solution; and with over 1,400 customers across four continents, the market’s adoption confirms that our service is truly exceptional,” says Tim Allen, Chief Sales Officer of Evolve IP. “The Evolve IP UCaaS product solves critical issues across an organization; it provides users with functionality that helps them operate at the peak of efficiency and it gives IT professionals the reliability and ease of management that they need.”

The cloud services Evolve IP provides is used by global clientele, which includes Virgin, The Palm, Christian Dior and many others. It is also of note that Evolve IP is on a roll when it comes to recognition. IT was named recently as one of the Top 100 Companies in North America by Red Herring.
