GyPSii Available on WeFiApps

By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

GyPSii, a social networking application has announced that the application will now be available across the recently launched WeFiApps from WeFi. WeFi (News - Alert) can be integral to the GyPSii’s growth plans as the application searches for the best available Wi-Fi connections and around and helps the users to get connected.

GyPSii connects people, places and communities across networks and devices, from work to play to home, enabling members to share their real life experiences in the virtual world on your mobile phone and the internet. Users can share their lives with others by creating photos, video and audio for others to view, comment and share. They can also locate their friends and view their Places with this application.

Members of the WeFi community can now automatically "geotag" their location with related images, comments, status updates and information. This is made possible as they can now download GyPSii free from WeFiApps, and share their life experience in real-time.

“The GyPSii community is always connected, creating and sharing their life experiences wherever they are. These desires mirror the profile of the WeFi member and we look forward to sharing a very active community.” said Shane Lennon, SVP Marketing and Product Management at GyPSii.

WeFiApps enhances the wireless network user experience with mobile and portable devices with the help of the WeFi backbone connectivity layer. By combining a community-generated database, a smart connection manager and a dynamic Access Point (News - Alert)/Hotspot directory, it offers a high performance, open and global broadband wireless network. WeFi always seeks to connect users to Wi-Fi access points where Internet access has already been verified by other WeFi-enabled devices.

Recently, the company partnered with China Unicom's Shanghai Unicom, to become a mobile social network solution for its new consumer 3G SNS Service, UniSpace. Now, the content that UniSpace members create becomes true Internet-searchable destinations and experiences, available for all GyPSii for communities. China Unicom (News - Alert) expects UniSpace offering to play an important role in driving the success of their 3G Value Added Service.
