b2b2dot0.
EFD is a global manufacturer of precision dispensing systems for applying controlled amounts of the adhesives, sealants, lubricants, and other assembly fluids used in almost every manufacturing process.
President Peter Lambert informed that EFD began to process orders from over 25 countries into their SAP system in real time, within 60 days of starting this project. He noted that their customers appreciate the Website’s convenience and ease-of-use, and consider it a major value-added service. The company has also gained tremendous efficiencies in the order management process.
Nordson CIO Shelly Peet pointed out that their company was a pioneer in the area of SAP integrated B2B eCommerce back in 2001. They are now driven to identify a new eCommerce solution that could transition with them as they consolidate and upgrade their SAP landscape through 2010.
“After the pilot program at EFD validated b2b2dot0’s solution and responsiveness, Nordson decided to make it the foundation of their entire SAP B2B eCommerce architecture,” said Dr. Sam Bayer, chief executive officer and founder of b2b2dot0.
The company has synchronized their efforts with Nordson’s to create an industrial strength infrastructure, a functionally rich product, and scalable support services that position b2b2dot0 well for 2009 and beyond.
