Interactive Intelligence Among Exhibitors at MECOM2011

MECOM, the largest ICT Exhibition and Conference in UAE Capital, Abu Dhabi opened its doors this week. Featuring seminars and forums focusing on telecoms operators strategy, telecoms technology, ICT solutions and cloud computing, MECOM gives attendees a firsthand perspective of the mood of the ICT industry in the Middle East region.

Amongst the suppliers worldwide, IP business communications solutions provider Interactive Intelligence (News - Alert) Middle East will be demonstrating its award-winning contact center automation, enterprise IP telephony and business process automation solutions to attendees, featuring its Customer Interaction Center (CIC) solution.

Customer Interaction Center (CIC) is an all-in-one contact center solution: a single pre-integrated application suite, supported on a single multichannel platform architected for SIP and voice over IP (VoIP). With CIC’s desktop features, agents, supervisors and remote agents solve problems, upsell, and build customer relationships.

MECOM expects communications decision makers from the government and public sectors, banking and finance, hospitality and real estate across the Middle East region. Held under the patronage of H.E. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister of Government Sector Development, MECOM is the only telecom event in Abu Dhabi.

Interactive Intelligence expects this to be a success for their Middle East regional arm.

“IP technology has been gaining popularity in the Middle East in the last few years as companies are making the transition from traditional PBX (News - Alert)/ PABX systems to IP telephony. This trend encouraged Interactive Intelligence to establish our regional office in Dubai in 2008,” said Shaheen Haque, Interactive Intelligence territory manager for Turkey and Middle East.

He continued, “Since then, we have recruited 12 partners across the region and have recently set up operations in Saudi Arabia as well. We have had a significant number of prestigious customer wins in the government and private sector. Trade shows like MECOM offer us a good platform to further spread awareness about our brand and solutions and grow our regional business.”

Featuring CIC will give attendees a new solution for their contact center needs.

Interactive Intelligence also plans to share its latest vertical solution for the insurance market, which unifies interaction management, content management, and back-end databases for policy, billing, and claims administration.

“By bringing together disparate communications and business systems, our solution helps mid-size to large insurance companies take advantage of growth opportunities, streamline operations, reduce costs, increase agent productivity, and improve customer service,” Haque said.

Interactive Intelligence is exhibiting at Booth M40.
