Voxeo Honored with 2014 Best Hybrid Cloud Solution Award from the Cloud Awards Program

Voxeo (News - Alert), an Aspect company, has been honored with the 2014 Best Hybrid Cloud Solution award from the Cloud Awards Program. The company won this title for its triple hybrid cloud solution that offers robust security and reliability.

Voxeo, also a finalist in best cloud infrastructure category, become an Aspect (News - Alert) company after its acquisition last year. Since its acquisition, Voxeo’s platform and global infrastructure is served as the nucleus for Aspect’s expanding cloud, hybrid and premise-based solution portfolio.

Voxeo's triple hybrid cloud solution enables companies to deploy on-premise solutions in a private cloud, using Voxeo's global cloud hosting. Voxeo’s Cloud Hosting is built on platforms owned and managed by Voxeo at its redundant, geographically dispersed hosting facilities throughout North America, Europe and Asia.

The company’s hybrid approach help companies to uphold the cost benefits of a fixed infrastructure and only use the cloud when needed for maximum call volumes, delivering the cost effectiveness of a premise solution.

"Hybrid deployments have been steadily increasing in popularity as hosting is increasingly viewed as a secure, reliable option. More enterprises are considering the cloud and true hybrid deployments for an affordable, low-risk path for adopting additional customer interaction channels in the contact center," said John Amein, Vice President of Product Management at Aspect.

John Amein said that they are honored to receive the best hybrid cloud award from the Cloud Awards Program and this award is further recognition that they are fulfilling their mission of making it easy for enterprises to engage with their customers.

Aspect is also engaged in enhancing the contact center-in-the-cloud solution considerably and has recently introduced yet another feature-rich, cloud-based contact center solution called, Zipwire, which is architected to rapidly accelerate operational value and customer service excellence.

This new solution is built on the Voxeo platform that brings higher functionality with a no-risk, self-service provisioning.
