RingCentral Office Now Available on Oracle Cloud Marketplace
June 23, 2015
The RingCentral (News - Alert) Office suite seeks to merge cloud-based communications with customer relationship management (CRM) to benefit businesses by allowing for easy search of customer information and ease of dialing during marketing campaigns.
RingCentral has been a part of the Oracle (News - Alert) Partner Network for some time. Its latest announcement concerns the adoption of Office into the Oracle Cloud Marketplace which acts as a repository of software for Oracle members. Now, those members can have access to Office in order to benefit their own operations alongside the use of other trusted products.
Richard Borenstein, the senior vice president of business development at RingCentral, pointed out that his company's primary market for Office is large enterprises.
“Our integration with Oracle Sales Cloud brings powerful business communication to large corporations,” Borenstein said. “Helping increase workflow efficiency through RingCentral’s capabilities can improve productivity for potentially millions of end users. Integrating business communications with customer relationship management (CRM) effectively streamlines prospect conversation, cutting down on the time and resources it takes to close deals.”
It is that last line of his statement which underlines the power of an integrated real-time communications capability and CRM suite. Marketers do not want to spend all day sifting through customer information to connect in a relevant manner with the right people. CRM platforms have the potential to make information gathering a simpler task, and by combining that with communications tools such as an outbound dialer, RingCentral is offering something valuable to corporate employees. Office even offers a click-to-dial function with screen pop-ups that present customer notes for a quick overview of talking points. No time is wasted in either learning about a customer or making a call.
RingCentral noted that it has used its Connect Platform to make this integration with the Cloud Marketplace. The platform contains tools that connect with RingCentral APIs to give developers the chance to create and manage custom deployments of software. Developers will be able to use those same APIs to connect Office and any other RingCentral product to their own communications systems for even more customized integration with company operations.
