Zuora Debuts Z-Billing 2.0

Zuora, Inc., provider of on-demand subscription billing and payment service, has reportedly released Z-Billing 2.0, a customizable on-demand billing platform, with 100 new features to support customers with more power, more automation, and even greater ease of use.
Z-Billing 2.0 is an extension to company’s previously released Z-Billing 1.0 product which passed the 100 customer mark recently. Z-Billing is the first billing application from the company designed specifically for subscription companies, giving them the flexibility and power to create, manage, and grow their business.
With Z-Billing 2.0, companies can launch new products to market quickly, scale operations, and gain full visibility into the metrics that drives subscription business. According to the Zuora, Z-Billing 2.0 empowers organisations subscription business to scale with each new customer.
Officials at Zuoar said that, the new version provides companies with a solution that handles invoices, order changes, and billing disputes for thousands, tens of thousands, and millions of customers, without adding headcount. Moreover, it helps companies respond to market changes by offering services at the right price and terms.
Its new features such as mass updating tools, auto-sync capabilities, and workflow enable companies to streamline business operations eliminating manual processes. Its integration options seamlessly connect business operations across Websites, provisioning, accounting, CRM, and payment systems, says the company.
In addition, Z-Billing 2.0’s logging and tracking capabilities provide automatic audit trails for compliance and security needs. Sales teams, accounting teams, and customers have a 360-degree view of data to manage each customer subscription lifecycle using the new UI. Real-time invoice and payment history, usage, and rollover data are now available with a few mouse-clicks.
“We founded Zuora with the expectation that subscription-based businesses would explode in the coming years – we’ve seen subscriptions take off even faster than we expected. You can now subscribe to everything from socks to software to movies,” said Tien Tzuo, CEO of Zuora. “With the new features and key partnerships, Z-Billing 2.0 sets the new standard for businesses developing a subscription service.”
Z-Billing 2.0 even provides a Taxation module that supports all tax types including Sales and Use, Value Added (VAT), Goods and Services (GST (News - Alert)), etc. Taxes can be applied to any address with the ability to report taxes to various jurisdictions.
Also, Zuora has signed new partnership agreements with the leading sales tax software companies such as Sabrix, Vertex (News - Alert), and Avalara.
